Rich Homie admittedly signed a bad deal without having lawyers review–causing him to receive minuscule payment for records like ‘FLEX’ or ‘TYPE OF WAY’. His melodic, street-inspired rhymes almost seemed superior to his contemporary Future at times, yet Quan’s independent record label T.I.G. YG’s ‘MY N***A’ was another hit that benefitted from the Atlanta crooner’s skill set. But that was always the issue with Rich Homie Quan: most of his sauce was spread on other artist’s tracks.
